PANJIT Co., Ltd., upholding the management philosophy of “Sustainability-Driven, Innovation-Led,” actively implements the core values of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). The company continuously deepens its energy transition and low-carbon manufacturing strategies. This year, PANJIT received the Top Honor in the “2025 Net-Zero Industry Competitiveness Excellence Award” organized by the 21st Century Foundation, demonstrating its firm commitment and outstanding achievements in promoting net-zero carbon reduction and sustainable management.
“High Recognition from the 21st Century Foundation for Industrial Net-Zero Efforts”
The “Net-Zero Industry Competitiveness Excellence Award” is hosted by the 21st Century Foundation, which has long been dedicated to advancing sustainability policies, corporate net-zero transformation, and national competitiveness research. As a reputable promoter of sustainable development in Taiwan, the foundation established this award to encourage corporations to achieve net-zero transformation through innovation and technology, evaluating overall performance in energy management, carbon neutrality, and green manufacturing against international standards.
The assessment covered multiple indicators, including energy efficiency, carbon management, resource circularity, and sustainability governance.
With its systematic carbon reduction strategies and transparent data disclosure, PANJIT stood out and received the Top Honor, symbolizing steady progress on the path toward net-zero transformation.
“Actively Responding to Global Sustainability Trends – Progressing Toward Carbon Neutrality”
In the face of global climate change challenges, PANJIT continues to promote carbon management in a scientific and systematic manner. By integrating process optimization and energy-saving measures, the company persistently reduces energy intensity and carbon emissions.
In 2024, PANJIT achieved a renewable energy usage rate of 0.05%. Although still at an early stage, the company is actively planning its long-term net-zero roadmap and exploring new opportunities for breakthroughs. PANJIT aims to significantly enhance its carbon reduction efforts over the mid to long term, steadily advancing toward sustainable carbon neutrality.
“Outstanding Water Conservation Performance Demonstrates Resource Management Success”
In terms of water resource management, PANJIT continues to implement process water-saving initiatives, recycling and reuse systems, and monitoring optimizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
In 2024, the water intensity per million NTD of revenue was 39.70 tons, a 3.17% decrease from 2023.
Meanwhile, the water consumption per million NTD of value added was 118.73 tons, a 5.48% reduction from the previous year.
These figures highlight PANJIT’s achievements in enhancing process efficiency and reducing resource consumption, reinforcing its long-term dedication to sustainable water management.
“Advancing Waste Management – Moving Toward a New Milestone in Circular Economy”
In waste management, PANJIT faced a slight increase in waste generation intensity in 2024 due to production adjustments and process optimization.
The waste per million NTD of revenue (0.10 tons) and waste per million NTD of value added (0.29 tons) increased by 30.75% and 27.63%, respectively, compared to 2023.
The company continues to enhance source reduction strategies, promote waste segregation, recycling, and reuse measures, and improve resource utilization efficiency through precise management and circular regeneration mechanisms.
Looking ahead, PANJIT will keep introducing green processes and supply chain collaboration, driving waste reduction through innovation and steadily reducing waste intensity to move toward zero waste and a circular economy.
“Outlook – Turning Sustainability Vision into Action”
Looking to the future, PANJIT will continue aligning with international sustainability disclosure frameworks, such as TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative), setting higher standards for itself to strengthen net-zero transformation and sustainability governance.
The company will also institutionalize carbon inventory management, reinforce supply chain carbon reduction cooperation, and leverage innovative technologies to enhance energy efficiency—fulfilling its corporate values of “Carbon Reduction, Innovation, and Sustainability.”
PANJIT firmly believes that sustainable development is not only a corporate responsibility but also a key driver of competitiveness and brand trust. The company will continue to disclose its sustainability performance transparently and collaborate with all stakeholders to create a net-zero sustainable future of “Technology-Driven, Green Co-Prosperity.”
